Puma seems to be pretty serious about this motorcycle lark, as its foray into the one-piece leather business shows. Boots were first, though, and the '1000' model was well received, if not without its teething troubles.
A second version has evolved though, incorporating the Ghost Doctor protection to prevent your ankle from going in funny shapes. Heel protection has been improved and better cushioning improves comfort. Other improvements on the inside are a taller inner boot with better shin padding and a bigger entry arc. On the outside, the zinc toeslider has been made bigger. Given some of the feedback we (and others) gave them, it would appear they have been listening. We'll be giving them a thorough seeing-too this winter.
